The House Of The Spirits

So far The house of the spirits is interesting. Like Ceremony I had to go back and read Chapter one. Sometimes I got lost and confused on who was telling the story. I dont like Esteban, granted he improved the standard of living for the peasants that worked on the plantation, that doesnt give him the right to rape the women.

    I also was confused with who was telling the story in “The House of Spirits” and had to stop sometimes but after our talk in class and Dr. Sherwood explaining it all made sense.

    I agree about Estaban. What a dirtbag. It doesn’t matter what you fix up, the rapes were the point I finally concluded I’m not a fan of this guy.
