So I already wrote a blog about the fairy tales but I saw in the email that we sent them to the wrong place and I can’t find where that is to repost it so I guess ill just write a new one. Haha.
I feel that the Grimms tales are darker stories to with the lessons much easier to understand. I’m sure that if you would have a child read something from Grimms and then the same story from Disney he would be able to tell you the point of the story or the lesson. Disney I think are more of what we call ‘Fairy Tales’ they take you away to a make believe land and provide you with a happy ending. This is not the case in Grimms but at least you understand the point of them. I really enjoyed the stories that we read from grimms a lot more than that of Disney but I don’t know if I could recommend something like that to a younger age group.
